Activities
There are a number of activities available including mountainbiking, sailing with a triaditional Dhow, tours to the reef with a glassbottom boat, kite surfing and diving.

Restaurants
There are several nice restaurants; Leonardo's for the Italian food lovers, Nomads is a beachfront restaurant open from early morning till late at night, at Ali Barbours you eat in a candle lit cave and last but not least try Almanara for a beautiful night out.
Safari's
National Parks like Tsavo East, Tsavo West, Amboseli, are all reachable within a day. As well as North coast Kenya towns of Malindi, Watamu and Kilifi. Fort Jesus, Shimba hills and Kisite Marine Park and Wasini Island are all an easy day trip away. We can recommend you one of the tourcompanies depending on your wishes.
Shopping
There are a lot of shops and supermarkets up and down Ukunda and Diani, all within 5 to 10 minutes of you. The main supermarket in Ukunda is Naivash. In Diani you'll find Carrefour, and some smaller supermarkets like Chandarana and Muthaiga Mini Market. For fresh vegetables and fruits we recommend the market in Ukunda.
If you wish, your shopping can be done for you at a fee. If you send us the shoppinglist with your wishes in advance, we´ll make sure the groceries are there on arrival.
